It was a bright and sunny morning in Bunnyville. 🌸 The flowers were blooming, birds were chirping, and little bunnies were bouncing with excitement. Why?
Because it was Easter Sunday!
All the bunny families were getting ready for the Great Easter Egg Hunt. Every bunny had painted one special egg to hide and find.
Binky the Bunny had painted his egg with swirls of pink, blue, and yellow. He even added glitter and a tiny bow!
“I can’t wait to find my sparkly egg again!” Binky giggled.
But when he reached the egg basket…
His egg was gone! 😱
“My egg is missing!” Binky cried.
His friend Tilly the Turtle peeked over her flower pot. “Oh no! Maybe someone took it by mistake?”
Binky nodded. “Let’s go look for it!”
They hopped and waddled across the meadow.
First, they visited Freddy the Fox, who was painting eggs with funny faces.
“Have you seen my egg?” Binky asked.
Freddy shook his head. “Nope! Mine has sunglasses and a mustache. I haven’t seen yours.”
Next, they went to Daisy the Duck, who was swimming with her ducklings.
“Daisy, did you see a shiny Easter egg with a pink bow?”
Daisy quacked, “Nope! Mine is floating in the pond—yours sounds very pretty though!”
Binky sighed. “Thanks anyway.”
Then they heard a tiny sniffle from behind a tree.
It was Charlie the Chipmunk.
“What’s wrong, Charlie?” Binky asked gently.
Charlie held something behind his back. “I—I found a pretty egg in the grass. I thought it was just left behind. He said I didn’t know it was yours… I’m sorry.” 😔
Binky’s eyes lit up. “That’s my egg! But it’s okay, Charlie. You didn’t mean to take it. I’m glad it’s safe.”
Charlie handed it back. “Thanks for not being mad.”
Binky smiled, “Hey, how about you join our egg hunt? The more friends, the more fun!”
Charlie beamed. “Really? I’d love to!”
So Binky, Tilly, Charlie, Freddy, and Daisy all joined in the Great Easter Egg Hunt together.
They laughed, searched, and shared yummy treats. 🧺🍓
Binky even found a surprise note inside his egg:
“Helping friends brings the real joy of Easter!”
