The wind was strong. Waves rocked the boat.
They were far from land—and very scared.
Suddenly, they saw someone walking on the water!
It was Jesus!
He was walking toward them on top of the waves.
They thought He was a ghost.
But Jesus said, “Don’t be afraid. It’s Me!”
Peter Steps Out
Peter was brave.
He said, “Lord, if it’s You, tell me to come to You.”
Jesus said, “Come.”
Peter got out of the boat. He started walking on the water!

But then he looked at the wind.
He got scared and started sinking.
“Lord, save me!” Peter cried.
Jesus reached out and caught him.
