The Three Brave Friends
There were three friends—Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
They loved God and prayed only to Him.
One day, the king made a rule. He said, “Bow to my big gold statue.”
But the three friends said, “No. We will only pray to God.”

The King Gets Angry
King Nebuchadnezzar got very mad.
He said, “If you don’t bow, I’ll throw you into the hot fire!”
The friends were calm. They said, “God can save us. Even if He doesn’t, we will still trust Him.”
The king ordered the furnace to be heated seven times hotter!

The guards tied up the friends and threw them in.
But soon the king looked into the fire—and gasped!
“There are four people walking inside! They’re not hurt! One looks like an angel!”
