The Resurrection – Jesus Is Alive!

Jesus stands near the empty tomb

A Quiet Morning at the Tomb

Three days after Jesus died, the sky was still. The tomb was closed with a big stone. The soldiers were guarding it. Everything seemed quiet and sad.

But something amazing had happened. Jesus was no longer inside! The tomb was empty.

The Angel Gives Good News

Early in the morning, Mary Magdalene and some other women went to visit Jesus’ tomb. They wanted to put special spices on His body. But when they got there, the stone had been rolled away!

An angel was sitting on the stone. He said,

“Don’t be afraid. Jesus is not here. He has risen!”

Jesus Is Alive

The women were surprised and full of joy. They ran to tell the disciples the good news. But Jesus didn’t stay away. He came to see His friends!

He showed them His hands. He talked with them. He was really alive!

What This Teaches Us

The Resurrection is the happiest part of Jesus’ story. It shows us that love is stronger than death. Jesus gives us hope, joy, and new life.

Would you believe the good news like the women did?
