Jesus Shows His Glory
One day, Jesus took three friends up a high mountain. Their names were Peter, James, and John. They didn’t know something amazing was about to happen. While they were there, Jesus began to shine. His face glowed like the sun. His clothes became bright white.
The disciples were shocked. They had never seen anything like it before. Jesus looked full of light. It was like heaven had touched Him. They could feel it in their hearts—this moment was special.
Moses and Elijah Appear
As Jesus glowed, two more people appeared beside Him. It was Moses and Elijah! These were great men from the Old Testament. They had been with God long ago. Now they were talking with Jesus.
Peter was so amazed. He didn’t know what to say. He said, “Let’s build shelters for all of you!” But he was really just scared and confused.

God Speaks from the Cloud
Then, a bright cloud came over them. It covered the mountain in light. From the cloud, a voice spoke. It was God! He said,
“This is My Son. I love Him. Listen to Him!”
The disciples were so afraid they fell down. They covered their faces. But Jesus walked over and touched them. He said, “Don’t be afraid.”

What This Teaches Us
Jesus is more than a teacher. He is the Son of God. His friends saw a little bit of heaven that day. The Transfiguration shows that Jesus is full of glory and truth.
Would you listen if Jesus spoke to you?
