Once upon a time, on a farm, a mother duck laid some eggs. When the eggs hatched, she saw that one of the ducklings was very different from the rest. This duckling was larger and had scruffy grey feathers, making him look very different from his cute and fluffy yellow siblings.
The other animals on the farm would tease and make fun of the little duckling, calling him “ugly.” This made him feel sad and lonely. He wished he could be like his brothers and sisters, but he couldn’t help the way he looked.
One day, the little duckling decided to run away from the farm in search of a place where he would be accepted and loved. He traveled through the countryside, meeting various animals along the way, but no one wanted to be friends with him because he looked so different.
As winter approached, the little duckling was feeling very lonely and sad. He found a small pond to swim in, but the water began to freeze around him. Just as he was about to give up, a group of beautiful swans landed on the pond. They saw the little duckling and were amazed at how different and unique he looked.
To the little duckling’s surprise, the swans accepted him and welcomed him into their flock. When he looked into the water, he saw that he was no longer an ugly duckling, but a beautiful swan just like his new friends.
The little swan was now happy and content, surrounded by new friends who loved him just the way he was. He realized that it didn’t matter what he looked like on the outside, but what was on the inside that truly mattered.
The moral of the story is that we should never judge someone based on their looks, but rather get to know them for who they are on the inside. We are all different in our own unique ways, and that is what makes us special.
