Jesus Meets People Who Are Hurting
Wherever Jesus went, people followed Him. Not because He was famous, but because they had hope. They brought their pain, their sickness, their worries—and He never turned them away.
One day, a man who couldn’t walk lay on a mat. His friends carried him to Jesus. But the house was too full! So what did they do? They climbed the roof, made a hole, and lowered him down—right in front of Jesus.
Jesus Heals with a Word
Everyone was watching. Would Jesus get mad? No. Jesus looked at the man and said,
“Get up. Take your mat. Walk.”
And the man did! He stood up for the first time in years. The people cheered. His friends hugged him. Jesus smiled.
This wasn’t the only time He healed someone.
The Blind Can See
Another day, Jesus met a man who had never seen a single thing—not color, not family, not light. He was born blind.
Jesus gently put mud on the man’s eyes and told him to wash. When the man did, something amazing happened—he opened his eyes and could see!
His first sight was sunlight. Then faces. Then the smiling face of Jesus.

What This Teaches Us
Jesus didn’t heal to show off. He healed to show love. He helped those who were sad, sick, or hurting. He made them whole. He gave them hope.
Jesus still cares today. He may not always heal the same way—but He always listens, helps, and loves.
Would you come to Jesus if you were hurting?

Moral of the Story

He listens, helps, and shows us that love can heal.
