Saul Was Mean to Jesus’ Friends
There once lived a man named Saul. He didn’t like people who followed Jesus. In fact, he wanted to stop them. He said they were wrong. He even tried to send them to jail.
One day, Saul was on his way to a city called Damascus. He wanted to find more of Jesus’ followers and take them away.
A Bright Light from the Sky
But something amazing happened.
Suddenly, a bright light from the sky shone all around him! It was so bright that Saul fell to the ground.
Then he heard a voice. It said,
“Saul, Saul, why are you hurting Me?”
Saul was scared. “Who are you, Lord?” he asked.
The voice said,
“I am Jesus. Go into the city, and I will tell you what to do.”

Saul Couldn’t See
When Saul got up, he couldn’t see. He was blind. His friends had to help him walk.
For three days, he couldn’t see anything. He didn’t eat. He didn’t drink. He just prayed.
Then a man named Ananias came. Jesus had told him to help Saul. Ananias prayed, and something like scales fell off Saul’s eyes.
Now he could see again!
Saul Becomes Paul
After that day, Saul was never the same. He believed in Jesus with all his heart. He got baptized. He started telling others about Jesus’ love.
He even got a new name: Paul.
Paul traveled to many places. He wrote letters. He helped build churches. He became one of the biggest helpers of Jesus ever!

What This Teaches Us
Saul was angry and mean. But Jesus didn’t give up on him.
Jesus changed Saul’s heart. He gave him a new purpose.
That means—no matter how far we are—Jesus can still reach us.
Would you let Jesus change your heart too?
Moral of the Story: Paul’s Conversion

Even someone who was mean like Saul can become kind and loving with Jesus’ help.
