When the witch wanted to visit her, she would call out, “Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair,” and Rapunzel would lower her long, golden hair for the witch to climb up.
Years went by, and Rapunzel grew into a beautiful young woman with long, flowing hair. One day, a prince rode by and heard Rapunzel singing from her tower. He was enchanted by her voice and decided to climb up to meet her. He called out, “Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair,” and Rapunzel lowered her hair for him.
