The Little Star’s Night Light: Read the Story
High in the sky lived a tiny star named Tilly. Tilly was the smallest star of all, and her light was only a small twinkle.
“My light is too little to matter,” Tilly said.
Down below, in a little house, a girl named Rosa could not sleep. Her room was dark and she felt scared. She looked out of her window and searched the sky. The big stars were far away, behind the clouds. But right above her house was one small star, twinkling just for her.
“Hello, little star,” Rosa whispered. “Will you stay with me?”
Tilly twinkled as brightly as she could. Rosa smiled, hugged her teddy, and closed her eyes.
Tilly kept shining all night long. She had learned that even a small light can make someone feel safe.
