Teddy’s Bath Time: Read the Story
Leo’s teddy bear was very dirty. He had mud on his paws and jam on his nose.
“Teddy needs a bath,” said Leo.
Leo filled the tub with warm water and lots of bubbles. Splash! In went Leo. Splash! In went Teddy.
Leo washed Teddy’s paws. Scrub, scrub, scrub. He washed Teddy’s nose. Rub, rub, rub. He even washed behind Teddy’s ears.
“Now we’re both clean,” said Leo.
Dad wrapped Leo in a fluffy blue towel. Leo wrapped Teddy in a little yellow towel. Then Dad dried Teddy with the warm hair dryer. Whirrrr. Teddy’s fur went soft and fluffy again.
Leo put on his pajamas. Teddy didn’t have pajamas, so Leo gave him a sock to wear as a hat.
They climbed into bed together. Teddy smelled like bubbles and soap.
“Goodnight, Teddy,” whispered Leo, and he gave Teddy a big squeeze. Teddy didn’t say anything, but Leo was sure he was smiling.
