Little Bunny Says Goodnight is a very short bedtime story for toddlers. The repeating “goodnight” lines are easy to remember, so little ones can say them with you.

Little Bunny Says Goodnight: Read the Story

Little Bunny was ready for bed. But first, she wanted to say goodnight to everything.

“Goodnight, carrot patch,” said Little Bunny. The carrots wiggled their green tops.

“Goodnight, big oak tree,” said Little Bunny. The oak tree rustled its leaves.

“Goodnight, little stream.” The stream went bubble, bubble, bubble.

“Goodnight, Mr. Moon.” The moon smiled down, round and bright.

“Goodnight, twinkly stars.” The stars blinked, one, two, three.

Little Bunny hopped into her burrow. Mama Bunny was waiting with a soft hug.

“Did you say goodnight to everything?” asked Mama.

Little Bunny thought. “Not everything,” she said. She snuggled into Mama’s warm fur. “Goodnight, Mama.”

“Goodnight, Little Bunny,” said Mama.

And Little Bunny closed her eyes. Shhh.
